In addition, single probe or tandem scanning can be used to comprehensively inspect the weld from the rail head tread to the middle area of the rail bottom surface. Detect defects such as pores, slag inclusion, looseness, and oblique cracks in the weld, and locate and judge the defects.
According to the requirements of rail bottom transverse crack detection technology, the defect that it is difficult to distinguish the reflected wave from the crack wave in the existing technology can be solved. At the same time, a dual-probe tandem or single-probe can be used to carry out a comprehensive weld inspection.
The scanner includes a rotating hand wheel, a synchronous belt transmission mechanism, a probe holder, a base, a scale, and a plummet.
The scanner has three probe holders. The movement combination of the holders: two can move in the same direction at the same time, and two can move in the opposite direction at the same time.
The damage depth is read directly by the scale. Two scales: the movable scale is used for rail bottom transverse crack detection and the single probe scanning depth indication, the plummet is located at the 0 position of the movable scale to indicate the damage location; the fixed scale is used for the tandem scanning depth indication.
The scanner has magnetic attraction function.
