The PE pipe scanner is a kind of PE pipe inspection device, which is wrapped and fixed on the surface of PE pipe through the chain at both ends of the bracket body, so as to detect PE pipe. By replacing the quick-change parts on the chain, the PE pipe scanner can be used on the pipes with diameters between 60 and 300 mm.
The pressure of the scanner wedge and encoder wheel is provided by the torsion spring. By installing our probe and wedge, the PE pipe scanner can be applied to the detection of PE pipe hot-melt weldings. Since the encoder of the scanner contacts with the workpiece by elastic force, it can also be used when the detected object is stainless steel plate.
Phased array probe is generally used in single probe scanning mode, and long wedge clamping arm is recommended.
TOFD probe is generally used in dual probe scanning mode, and short wedge clamping arm is recommended.
The scanning frame adopts the increase and decrease of quick change parts to realize the wide range change of chain length, so that the scanner can be used on PE pipe.
