The insulator probes are dual crystal creeping wave probes used for inspection of ceramic insulators.
The insulator probes are dual crystal creeping wave probes used for inspection of ceramic insulators. Use creeping waves to detect flaws such as cracks in post insulators and binding sites between porcelain shell and flange, and use small angle longitudinal waves to detect flaws such as insufficient burnt, holes and cracks in post insulators and binding sites between porcelain shell and flange. The sound velocity probes are used for measuring ultrasonic wave velocity in porcelains.
