The CTS-1200BM Bolt Preload Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Testing System is a portable device specializing in the preload force measurement, based on the acoustoelasticity effect. The system employs Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Dual-wave Testing Technology (the time-of-flight ration of a longitudinal and a transversal ultrasonic wave), which has an access to conduct in-situ preload force measurement of high-strength bolt. This instrument is able to carry out a non-contact inspection, which is with minimum surface preparation and no couplant required. It is easy to use and conducts measurements with fast and high accuracy, being free from the influence of the couplant.
